In the Work chapter of our upcoming book, we offer real-world employment tips to the Modern Con Man – in other words, how one man’s tricks-of-his-trade can be used, in some different yet practical way, in your life. One guy who talked to us was George Griffith, a former bathroom attendant who once worked at some New York strip clubs. As a grifter, he faced one of the most difficult situations imaginable: coaxing money from men who grip each spare dollar as if it's a potential ticket to paradise.
George is now a super-talented writer and actor, and he’s just finished From the Head, a series of webisodes about his former line of work – less the “cons from the john” stuff and more the kinds of characters he encountered there. Each Friday, starting tomorrow, he’s sharing a new one and we’ll be posting it here for you (although you can subscribe to the series on youtube).
