Do not worry. It's in English.

Day Two of the Aero's Mamet-fest includes The Spanish Prisoner – 7:30, tonight. If you haven't seen it, the movie features no Spanish and no prisoners – the name comes from a con that dates back to the early twentieth century, and which has today been modified as the e-mailed Nigerian money transfer scam. But the movie's not about that either. Go see it. It's one of his finest.

SPOILER ALERT! – That means we're about to ruin it. You are warned. We love the movie, in which every hidden truth is eventually and neatly revealed. When a movie does such a fine job of that, though, an inconsistency really stands out. And in The Spanish Prisoner, there's only one those. In the bathroom scene above, how does the red notebook get switched? It's never out of sight and no one gets close to it. So if anyone has any ideas...
